COURSE SUMMARY

Starting from outside Alison Park, entrants have a fast start down towards a turn point at the end of Korora Road and Owhanaka Bay. After turning entrants then drop down onto the picturesque Oneroa Beach and head along Beach Parade. You will be well warmed up prior to your first short but steep rise which takes you up and over Oceanview Road into Blackpool. From there entrants weave their way around the headland on The Esplanade which is a dirt road surface right alongside the water. Entrants get close to Surfdale prior to heading back along The Esplande, through Blackpool and up the second and final longer hill (Ridge Road). At the top of the hill youíll hear the crowd cheer you in through the back entrance of Alison Park onto the finish line stage.
